As (Senior) Software Engineer – Data Management at Snke you will design and build advanced healthcare data management systems that enable secure storage, transport, aggregation, and pseudonymization of clinical data to support data-driven workflows and research. You will work with established and emerging healthcare standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR, while contributing to modern application infrastructure (Smart on FHIR, OAuth2, JWT, telemetry), service hosting(containers, Kubernetes, AWS, CDK), as well as cybersecurity, data privacy tools, and our development ecosystem (GitHub, CI/CD). Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation in scalable, next-generation software solutions using cutting-edge technologies and agile development practices.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience developing, testing and maintaining software solutions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Go or C++ with expertise in building scalable and maintainable software applications. Looking ahead, we intend to expand our use of Rust for future development.
- Experience using good software development principles, especially automated testing
- Knowledge in state-of-the-art web technologies like HTTP, REST, JSON, gRPC, Protobuf, and microservices
- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and system architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in delivering high-quality software solutions
- Analytical mindset and creativity to develop extraordinary solutions
- A positive attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
- Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus
